MCN’s recent review of the all-new Tracer 900 has been setting the internet alight, but not everyone is in the market for a 113bhp triple, so for today’s Bike of the Day we have focused on the Tracer 900’s baby brother – the Tracer 700.
Launched a year after the Tracer 900 in 2016, the Tracer 700 uses the MT-07’s parallel twin to create a lightweight sports tourer that (like the MT) punches well above its budget price tag suggests.TOP STORIES

Armed with 75bhp, the Tracer 700 has an adjustable screen and a tank range of over 170-miles, making is a very practical bike. So why is now a great time to look at buying a used one? Yamaha are expecting owners of the Tracer 700 to update to the new 2018 Tracer 900 in search of a bit more power after a few years of ownership. Looking at the classified ads this certainly seems the case as there are several Tracer 700s currently for sale. What better time to snap one up?
“A beautiful blue Tracer 700 with minimal use, this bike has only 2520 miles on its clocks and is in fantastic condition. Fully serviced with a few extras including a tail tidy, paddock stand bobbins, hugger and rear sets, it’s a lovely example.”
